Biographical Note

Dolores Daly Flessner was born into a family of 12 where both faith and art were treasured. She received her early artistic formation from her father, an artist, architect, and art instructor at the Corcoran School of Art and the Catholic University of America. She received a classical art education at The American University.

Dolores focused for a number of years on the subject of the horse in action. Her work has appeared in equine art exhibits and events around the country and has been published in several equine magazines. In recent years she has expanded her interest in depicting religious and family themes. She illustrates regularly for the Respect Life Program of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
