Biographical Note

The sculpture and pottery of Scott F. Sullivan cover a wide range, from functional objects of beauty to works devoted to religious themes. His ceramics have been featured in numerous exhibits and his commissioned works are found in private collections in the United States and abroad.

Working primarily in the medium of clay, Scott strives to give artistic expression to the truth and infinite beauty of God. In recent years his sculptural works have focused on themes and figures from Sacred Scripture.

Scott Sullivan studied at West Virginia University, graduating from the College of Fine Arts with a studio major in Ceramics. He has taught pottery in classes and workshops in the Washington area where he resides with his wife Jem.
